Windy and misty conditions today but assistant warden Joe England had a good days birding around the island. He reports a Woodcock near the bat cave, 1 Dunlin, 28 Ringed Plovers, 3 Grey Plovers, 5 Turnstones and a Sandwich Tern in Braye Bay. Also a Merlin over Longis Common and 1 Shoveler and 4 Teal on Longis reserve.
