Howling winds all day from the NW gusting to 50mph. Reports in of 2 Sandwich Tern in Longis Bay and another in Braye Bay this morning. Around Kiln Farm 2 Black Redstarts, 1000+ Starlings and an impressive roost of 60 Collared Doves. Still good numbes of Thrushes and Chaffinches around.
The visiting ringers were engaged right up to the wire, ringing Starlings in the shelter of the large barns at Kiln Farm this afternoon until shortly before their flight departure. 23 new birds were ringed, 21 Starlings and 2 House Sparrows.
