November 6th

A blustery day today and our visiting ringers set about setting a birding day record for the island and they ended with a creditable 65 species. The list included 2 Yellow-browed Warblers at Essex farm, a productive sea watch included our first Black-throated Diver of the year, 2 Bonxies and a Sooty Shearwater. There was a single Brent Goose in Braye Bay and a Firecrest and Black Redstart at Fort Albert.

We are set for even stronger winds tomorrow with accompanying rain so will likely be catching up with other jobs around the Obs.
